We had a great meal here, booked at short notice and were able to get us squeezed into a very busy night! As a table of 5, 3 of us had fillet steaks all cooked differently and they were all cooked to absolute perfection. The other 2 family members had the duck and they both loved it. We made use of the 3 sides for £16 and they were all as equally as delicious. The service was relaxed and professional, both Alex and Rebekka made us feel comfortable and welcome from the offset. It’s rare we go out as a family and everyone is happy, so super pleased we came to Cameron Grill! Literally the only regret I have was I didn’t get a picture of the food because we all dove right in because it looked so nice! 100% give this place a try!

Smoked salmon was well made. I enjoyed the desert wine options as well. Rest of the dinner was not up to the same level. And service charge is definitely not a nice touch.

We began with the scallops, seared to perfection with a golden crust and served in a rich, flavorful sauce accented with delicate pearls of roe – a dish that was both visually stunning and bursting with freshness. The mains were equally impressive. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and perfectly pink inside, paired with a fresh bed of greens and a rich, flavorful jus. The fillet steak was melt-in-the-mouth tender, cooked exactly to order, and elevated by a silky herb butter and vibrant greens. The duck breast was another standout – perfectly crisp skin, succulent meat, and a beautifully balanced combination of sweet and earthy flavors from the beetroot and sauce. Side dishes were far more than an afterthought. The truffle parmesan fries were indulgent and addictive, with the right balance of crisp texture and rich flavor. The baby carrots were sweet and aromatic, complemented by a delicate seasoning, while the creamy potato salad with fresh herbs added a refreshing contrast. Dessert was the perfect closing note – a refined presentation of smooth vanilla ice cream, rich chocolate, and delicate textures that satisfied without overwhelming. The wine list was carefully curated, and our selection paired beautifully with every course, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them.
