Kirk O' The Lochs

Loved the place, so we came back for the final evening of our three week trip. Had starters, main course and desserts two days in a row and everything was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive, we sure hope to be back one day

The area, the food, the coffee, the clean beer lines, the overnight stay, the breakfast...all of it was absolutely out of this world. Came to Lomond to drive through and enjoy the scenery but we're so glad we stayed the night with Stuart and the team. Clearly loves the area, sourcing local produce and serving it to the tourists travelling through. Bustling dinnertime with a caring team who love what they do. The dog was invited to eat from the full dog menu too! First ever gourmet experience for her. Short, steep walk from the carpark took us to the view of a lifetime of Loch Lomond. Keep it up you wonderful lot! We will absolutely be back :-D

Passing through here heading towards Faslane, we happened upon this place and decided to stop. The reviews looked good! We'd only just left the car and a nice young man appeared from the doorway and asked a very simple question..."would you like to eat with us?" "Yes please!" The food here is superb with a quiet and calm service. I know it's a cliché (and everyone says this)..but my wife said that the fish and chips was some of the best she'd ever eaten! Beautifully large and flakey cooked in what tasted like crispy beer batter. Chips, chunky crisp and soft in the middle. Worth a stop! Thank you Kirk O'The Lochs!
