I visited The Faerie Tree Inn about 10 times when staying in Aberfoyle in May 2026. It was my go to place for supper and a couple of pints after a long day walking and hiking in the area. The front team are very friendly and helpful and take note of preferences on return visits. They are attentive in ensuring all is well once I was squared away without being too intrusive - a hard balance to find. The food was of consistent quality - I especially recommend the twisted Balmoral chicjen and dill-encrusted salmon. The sticky toffee pudding, while not a fave dessert of mine, is to my surprise delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming though there's no bar with stools to sit at before settling down at a table for a meal. If I get back to Aberfoyle - and I very much hope I do - I will be back again and again to The Faerie Tree Inn!

Came here after go ape! Amazing food and service. Got the salt and pepper chicken and chips, a fabulous portion after swinging around for my life. They were very accomudating. Had a lovely fudge cake for dessert with amazingly tastey choclate details. The atmosphere was lovely! A good amount of busy, with a nice cosy vibe. Very dog freindly too! Empty plate clubs (almost) all round.

While staying at a nearby resort for a week stay we ended up having dinner here three times following our daily excursions. We found the food and service to be excellent. I really enjoyed the steak pie and the lamb shank. The vegetables were crisp just the way I like them. It is advisable to make reservations if possible.
