Authentic Stories from Diners
We walked past this place on a weekday in July and were immediately attracted by the atmosphere, so we decided to give it a try for lunch. We ordered the chilli con carne, baked potatoes with spicy beef, and fish & chips, and we weren't disappointed at all. Sitting outside was fantastic, with the temperature at around 25°C, making it a perfect setting for lunch. Even though it was a weekday, the café was already quite busy when we arrived at around 12:30 pm, which says a lot about its popularity. Although the prices are a little on the high side, the food, atmosphere, and friendly service made it well worth the visit.
We enjoyed lunch here with our wee dog who loved her lorne sausage! We shared nachos to start and then had cajun chicken pasta and chilli beef enchiladas. Large portions and all very tasty. Busy place but we got seated inside immediately. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Our 2nd visit and we would definitely return when back in Luss.
One of the few family restaurants in the little town of Luss. The menu looks great, a wide selection of food for adults, kids and doggies. However, we ordered three burgers and unfortunately, it's no where near to nice at all. The cheese burger is just a beef patty with a slice of cheese between two buns. Even Macdonalds burger tasted better. Otherwise, I guess the fish and chips is better. Come here for a bite but don't expect too much.
